Information for participants
How does the program work?
- A victim offender dialogue process starts with each participant meeting individually with the mediators. This meeting is for the mediators to hear each participant’s perspective on what happened, and answer any questions. This meeting will also help determine if this process is the right one for the participants involved.
- If everyone agrees, a mediation is scheduled
- During the mediation, each participant has a chance to talk uninterrupted. Then there is a discussion of issues and concerns. Each person gives input into any final agreement that is reached.
