Conflict Management at Work
1-2 days
This workshop examines conflict theory as it relates to your workplace environment. Participants will
analyze conflict and communication, discover personal conflict styles, and learn strategies to move
people from positions to interests. Participants will be presented with an interpersonal conflict
resolution process, and have the opportunity to analyze case studies using tools presented during
the workshop. You will learn how to manage conflict more effectively in your work environment.
Mediation Skills for Conflict Managers
3 days (2 days if Conflict Management course is already completed)
This course will focus on the process and skills of a three-phase transformative mediation model.
Elements such as: sources of conflict, analysis tools, facilitating dialogue, and building understanding
will be presented and practiced. The focus will be on how to effectively deal with interpersonal conflict
as a third-party intervener. The course is a combination of lecture, small/large group interaction, and
includes two to three simulated workplace mediations.

Cross- Cultural Communication
1-2 days
Our workplace settings are becoming increasingly diverse. In this exciting reality it is important that
our communication to be culturally aware and sensitive. This workshop will introduce participants to ideas
about culture, how culture relates to conflict, and strategies for communicating in a culturally sensitive
way. You will learn how to understand and manage intercultural conflict in a more effective way.
