Contract Services

CMSD offers contract services for schools in the following areas:

Peer Mediation Consultation and Implementation

Through consultation, CMS-D customizes peer mediation programs for schools at all grade levels. The program is implemented by CMS-D and can include Peer Mediation program training for teachers, Peer Mediation Skills training for students, and train the trainer program for both students and teachers.

Workshops for Teachers

Customized workshops and training on conflict resolution principles and techniques to provide Teachers with the tools to aide in the guiding of youth toward successful resolution of conflict situations.

Conflict Resolution Activities / School Programs

Workshops and trainings focus on conflict resolution principles and techniques to provide students with the tools to manage conflict situations and are customized to the needs of the classroom culture.

Youth Facilitators address specific conflict resolution topics (e.g: bullying) using interactive games to engage youth to use non-violent approaches to resolve conflict. The classroom activities encourage team building and cooperation.

Conflict Resolution Training for Parents

Interested parents can become involved with CMS-D through peer mediation program training specifically designed for parents, Conflict Resolution training for parents, and train the trainer programs.
